6. Ponyo (hack of the Legend of Zelda for NES, using the Zelda Redux hack as a basis for a better gaming experience)
7. The Cat Returns (maybe a hack of Ninja Gaiden on NES?)
8. From Up on Poppy Hill (hack of River City Ransom on NES)
9. Tales from Earthsea (hack of Dragon Spirit on NES)

Movie-and-TV-Show-Based Hacks:

1. Pacific Rim (hack of the unlicensed port of Street Fighter 2 on NES, using the Street Fighter 2 Deluxe hack as a base for the best experience)

3. Dragonforce (hack of Mega Man 2 on NES, based on my favorite band)
4. Rocky (hack of Punch-Out! on NES, based on the popular film franchise)
5. Planet of the Apes (hack of the port of Contra on NES, based on the high quality reboot trilogy of movies)
6. Initial D (hack of either Rad Racer or Rad Racer 2 on NES)
7. Karate Kid (hack of the port of Kung Fu on NES)
8. Voltron (undetermined hack, possibly a hack of an NES fighting game)

Game-Based Hacks:
